Serena was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the young age of 5 at FBC Seminole. Shortly after that, her family moved to Andrews and she has been blessed to be a member of First Baptist Church since October of 1984. She has a deep passion for Christ and for helping others. Serena joined the First Baptist Staff in March of 2011.
She is married to Roy Powers and they have two children: Darin and Makensie. Serena enjoys spending time with her family and just being “Mom”.
