FBC LOVES MISSIONS

God has called every believer to participate in the mission of telling all people about Jesus Christ and sharing the love of God. It’s our goal at First Baptist Andrews to do this locally, regionally, and internationally. We have many opportunities and partnerships listed below that allow each member to help us accomplish this mission by praying, by giving, and by going. Contact our Missions Pastor for more information about these efforts.

Upcoming Mission Trips

Orphan Outreach

We have a long-standing relationship with the ministry of Orphan Outreach in Guatemala to share God's love with children and underprivileged communities. You can partner financially, go on our annual mission trip, or pray for the orphans and families we serve in Guatemala.

Annual Missions Emphasis

Every year we raise money for Southern Baptist missions efforts around the world. These gifts are divided among the International Mission Board (IMB), the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and Texas Baptists (BGCT). You can give by clicking here.

Youth Mission Trips

The middle schoolers and high schoolers are given an opportunity over the summer to serve in various mission environments. In the past, we have been to Costa Rica, Alaska, Honduras, and Guatemala. They share the gospel, lead out in sports camps and service projects, and learn valuable leadership skills through these trips.

Disaster Relief

Our members have a heart to help those who are hurting and in crisis. We have partnered with Eight Days of Hope to provide rapid response and ongoing support to people in need. You can serve on a short-term relief team, or you can give to our full time missionaries with Eight Days of Hope: Dave & Wendy Gregg.

Local Missions

First Baptist Andrews enjoys reaching out to our community, and we are constantly looking for ways to brighten people’s day with the love of Christ. Whether it’s mowing lawns, handing out coffee, washing cars, or picking up trash, we want to display the gospel in practical ways. Come join us as we Serve the City!
